 One of the 20 arrondissements of Paris, France, the 19th arrondissement is located on the Right Bank. Two canals, the Canal Saint-Denis and the Canal de l’Ourcq, which meet at the level of the Parc de la Vilette cross the arrondissement. The Cite de la Musique, harboring the Conservatoire de Paris, one of the most-renowned music schools in Europe, and the Parc de la Vilette, enclosing the Cite des Science et de l’Industrie, which is an exhibition center dedicated to sciences and industries are hosted by the 19th arrondissement. The public park of Parc des Buttes Chaumont which is located on a hill is also hosted by it.
