Known for containing the cosmopolitan districts of Menilmontant and Belleville, the 20th arrondissement is one of the 20 arrondissements of Paris, France. Located on the Right Bank, since the middle of the 19th century, both have welcomed many successive waves of immigration. Today, the second largest Chinatown in Paris is hosted by Belleville. The Pere Lachaise Cemetery in the 20th arrondissement is internationally known for hosting the graveyards of famous composers (such as Chopin and Rossini), writers (including Oscar Wilde and Marcel Proust), painters (Pissarro, Jacques-Louis David and others) and even rock singers (Jim Morrison).
