Paris Arrondissements - 5th Arrondissement

Dating back to ancient times, the 5th arrondissement is also one of the oldest in the city. Located on the Left Bank, it is one of the central arrondissement of Paris, France. Dominated by famous universities, colleges and high schools, the 5th arrondissement is famous for being the location of the Quartier Latin. In the Arenes de Lutece, a Roman amphitheater, and the Thermes de Cluny, a Roman thermae, one can find remains of the area’s past.
