Named after the Gare Saint-Lazare, Saint-Lazare is a station of the Paris Metro. It is the western terminus of Line 14 and the second busiest station of the metro system. Opened in 1904, it is in 8e arrondisement. It is also one of the six large terminus train stations of Paris. It accesses Place Gabriel Peri, Cour de Rome, Gare Saint-Lazare (four), 2, rue d’Amsterdam, 14/16, place du Havre, Rue de I’Arcade, 11/13 place du Havre, 92, rue St-Lazare, 95, rue St-Lazare, 97, rue St-Lazare, 13, rue du Havre and 14, rue du Havre. The station offers connections to the following other stations: Gare Saint-Lazare (SNCF), Haussman- Saint-Lazare (RER E) and points east and Saint-Augustin. During the 1870s and 1880s, artists and Impressionists have represented the Gare Saint-Lazare in a number of artworks. The Gare Saint-Lazare is also seen in the 1995 film French Kiss with Kevin Kline and Meg Ryan.
