For those tired of spending hours, days, perhaps even months ‘googling’ their way through hundreds of travel websites for information that will ‘perfect’ the next holiday now there’s a site that has the more ‘astute’ traveller in mind, one who wants to know about the ‘best’ in dining, accommodation and, of course, attractions.
In general, the site is about a travel experience rather than a travel bargain. It will particularly appeal to travellers who like to get very organised; subscribers can create their own ‘personal itinerary’ with just a few clicks; all their ‘favourites’ will be bookmarked in a special ‘agenda’ section for either immediate printing or for later reference when travelling. Agendas can be emailed to family and friends for planning their vacation as well as the ability to add notes.
The site is in response to the frustrations experienced by its creator, and the need to search many different sites to find information about the little things that make a holiday enjoyable; traditional little bistro, a great spa, childfriendly restaurants, where locals might head to buy their discount designer outfits.
The aim is to bring together a little local knowledge and to ensure this information is at the ‘travellers’ fingertips or Blackberry’!
We have searched for child-friendly hotels and restaurants, those that might deliver the ‘milk and cookies’ to the room rather than frown upon our young prince and princesses. In addition, the team is constantly scouting for talent for its regular editorial pages and bi-monthly newsletter that will highlight innovation in cooking, fashion, viticulture. Our travel motto at myweekin.........Best to know before you go!!
